Welcome to the home of Extreme Psychology, which addresses topics that place many of a psychologist’s activities ‘on the edge’.  Extreme psychology involves psychology in the courts, advocating for children, and helping adults deal with children or other family members who are  very difficult to live with day to day.

Check out the Downloads section to the right for recently referred to papers or presentations.  Highlighted here are materials from the presentations “The Effects of Shared Parenting on Children” (note there is a ppt and text for this presentation)“Reactive Attachment Disorder: The Facts, or How to Build Parent-Child Bonds and Work With Difficult Children Without Fear” and “How to Talk to Children and the Ethics of Reporting What They Say”.   You may go immediately to the Downloads button (see right) to obtain information from the talks.
